i have activated url_rewrite in joomla 2.5 , have renamed .htaccess described.

everything works well. unfortunately couldn't find reply next question on web.

my site can accessed through both links:

www.mysite.com/index.php/category

and

www.mysite.com/category

so links available on web including /index.php/ our site not forwarded site without index.php.

i can imagine cause problem duplicate content.

how can solve or did wrong expect joomla work out of box?

you add together folowing .htaccess rule right after rewriteengine on.

rewriterule ^index.php/(.*)$ /$1 [l,r=301]
