php - Can not connect to my mysql database -
i have been using "localhost" mysql database, , want update website web.
i took free hosting @ "serversfree.com" , uploaded web files there.now have problem.i made mysql database on website, , uploaded mysql database localhost.
i can go server , list files have in mysql database, when want connect .php documents don't know how.what set under "hostname" (i using localhost).do need set link web mysql database is?
or need set link website is?
i tried both didn't worked me
most web hosts i've used have mysql running on same box can maintain localhost server.
your host should have documentation on point server to.
