i not know if happens when create form , have bunch of textfields within type of validation (let's maxlength) whenever violate , tooltip appears, reason removes focus textfield. annoying because since have gone on max length next step press "backspace" in order delete characters since there no focus in textfield backspace executes "back" of browser , lost. tried search related configs , stuff haven't found yet , there's nil on internet. looks this:

are using extjs 5.0.1? think it's bug, i've seen same behaviour.

as temporary solution can add together next textfield avoid tooltip interfering field focus:

msgtarget:'side' // or 'under'
