i want generate pdf documents website. options? possible create custom sizes. ideally a4 landscape pages?

yes possible. can utilize fpdf. there plenty of tutorials out there.
you can generate landscape pages adding ('l') addpage() php file.
$pdf->addpage('l'); //$pdf object or
$pdf = new fpdf('l','mm','a4'); //landscaspe , unit of measure , page size. page orientations - p , l
page sizes - letter, legal , a4
units - pt, cm, in , mm
