here's setup:

an mvc web project hosted in azure vs2012 , vs2013 windows azure sdk 2.2 iis express 8 - 8.0.1557

the mvc project using castle windsor, , there performance counters beingness created during application start up.

when run project locally (via emulator) find during performance counters creation exception beingness thrown performance counters created , copied across azure table storage.

exception:

the directory specified caching compressed content c:\users\danielc\appdata\local\dftmp\resources\c2fd1c9b-d6c5-49af-942d-715c8f1ccc1c\temp\temp\roletemp\iisexpress\iis temporary compressed files\767ba5ae-0038-4c32-a70c-3d2f671e37ed invalid. static compression beingness disabled.

when seek , find location, not exist, implies maybe permission issue, dont know how alter permissions emulator.

to add together headache, in team of 6, of not experiencing issue. furthermore when deployed azure works fine well.

my question hence is, has experienced issue before , know solution?

steps taken far:

uninstall , install azure sdk 2.2 install azure sdk 2.3 install azure sdk 2.4 uninstall , install iis express 8 uninstall iis express 8 , install iis express 7.5 (which turned out did work not supported clutching @ straws really)

so believe have got bottom of it. appear instance count in serviceconfiguration.cscfg 4, when set 1 runs fine.

it odd colleagues work other configuration not experiencing issue.
