i have list of articles in joomla, these events , ordered in front-end on date (from old new). filled in "finish publishing" date when event ends. understand when finish publishing date reached, article gets expired , not visible in front-end. far good, old events not visible anymore.

however, want have module "past events" in shows lastly events happened, @ bottom of screen. have looked @ archived articles gives me link per month, , when click on month gives me blank page (?). have tested , apparently, because "finish publishing date" still nowadays module doesn't work probably.

i have looked @ article category module alternative of filtering date range on relative date, because events expired (unpublished?) don't show either.

now question is, possible have list of expired articles category, without whole archive function (because don't see added value of that)? how can show list of events, ordered on date in box called "upcoming events", , if event over, move box called "past events"?

you need archive plugin finish task.

the archive plugin check expired articles , move them archive new expiration settings. publish past articles archived articles module.
