osx - Intellij won't see SVN 1.8 -

i have intellij 13 on mac (maverick) , have upgraded svn 1.8 using macports. when seek checkout repo popup dialog doesn't have 1.8 selected can take 1.7. if go terminal , check version says 1.8. have googled lot , thought specifying path using svn in terminal "/opt/local/bin/svn" typing subversion configuration directory box allow intellij know new svn was?

am missing something?

well, use: ctrl-alt-s > version command > subversion > utilize command line client > ....

the button 3 dots should open file select dialog, there noted: select path subversion executable. should seek variations.
