matlab - Side by Side Bar Charts for similar quantities in Tableau -

i new tableau have rather simple visualization in need.

suppose have table 3 columns of, {val_a, err_model_ab (in %), err_model_ac (in %)}, , 100 rows.

the parameter val_a takes random values [0,1] , 'err_model's go [-10:10].

now want a side-by-side bar graph with:

x-axis: 'bins' of val_a interval 0.1 (so 0-0.1, 0.1-0.2 .. 0.9-1)

y-axis: 'count' of values of err_model

side-by-side color: red=err_model_ab , greenish = err_model_ac

but tableau not understand this!

it lets me create scatter plot of (val_a vs. err_val_ab) & 1 err_val_b.

but want count of values of err_val_ab within range of val_a 0-0.1, 0.1-0.2 .. 0.9-1. , similar side-by-side bar err_val_ac

any thoughts ? don't mind shifting matlab or other relatively easy infovis software.

can bins? not hard, right click dimenstion, create bins, , bin size should 0.1

drag bin dimension column.

now drag both err_model_ab , err_model_ac columns. if they're not count, right click them, measure, count.

now go show me, , select side-by-side bars.
