parsing - Fedora Package Changelogs -
does know of place find changelogs fedora packages? i'm looking parse info these changelogs , have had difficulty finding reliable.
my current thinking parse rpm spec files info i'm interested in (date, version #, etc.), have been unable find pre-existing libraries this.
additionally, fedora's website outlines standards these changelogs: * date developer_name version_num - entries
however, in findings many spec files inconsistent within format , miss fields (typically version number).
anybody have ideas on subject?
if looking version, date, etc., might seek parsing yum info <packagename>
or rpm -qip <packagename>
.
if need alter log, seek yum-changelog
plugin or rpm -q --changelog <packagename>
. (not sure, when using yum-changelog
might add together info sqlite database used yum. query info.)
i don't know of kind of web service gather info from.
