parsing - Fedora Package Changelogs -

parsing - Fedora Package Changelogs -

does know of place find changelogs fedora packages? i'm looking parse info these changelogs , have had difficulty finding reliable.

my current thinking parse rpm spec files info i'm interested in (date, version #, etc.), have been unable find pre-existing libraries this.

additionally, fedora's website outlines standards these changelogs: * date developer_name version_num - entries

however, in findings many spec files inconsistent within format , miss fields (typically version number).

anybody have ideas on subject?

if looking version, date, etc., might seek parsing yum info <packagename> or rpm -qip <packagename>.

if need alter log, seek yum-changelog plugin or rpm -q --changelog <packagename>. (not sure, when using yum-changelog might add together info sqlite database used yum. query info.)

i don't know of kind of web service gather info from.
