c# - Database or Filesystem for Hex files? -

i read topics related , not 1 mine problem.

i have hex files store in file scheme , have ui edits files. ui downloads files user can edit(there admins , users limited access) on local machine. every time users connects(with username , pass) in ui files new or edited have downloaded. can load them, edit files if wants , upload them on server. planing move database because connection , download of every file long, don't know idea. biggest file wont more 0.5 mb. files 210 mb.

things maintain in mind:

limited user access; many files edited @ same time; is going faster;(for admins takes 20-30 minutes log , download files); it's complex construction now;(the file scheme folder construction 5-6 folders deep)

so think should alter file scheme database? file scheme works it's slow. , have problems when there connection problem while uploading , other stuff. think it's idea, need sec opinion
