optimization - NetLogo speed hacks? -
i running netlogo model through r (using rnetlogo library) , output netlogo's info r perform analysis. in process, run model thousands iterating on variables. there other possible speed hacks in netlogo apart faster speed , disabling view updates? note:i don't prefer disable netlogo gui through r.
the profiler extension useful identifying parts of code taking time. http://ccl.northwestern.edu/netlogo/docs/profiler.html
once you've identified parts, how speed them depends on details of code doing.
