php - Drupal 7: Flags for a single forum and indexed search covering all forums -

i'm using drupal 7 core forum advanced forum on top website. 1 of forums back upwards requests similar functionality stackoverflow.com. unlike stack overflow user has ability set entire thread "solved", not single post. right realized via flag , me checking id of back upwards forum via hook, displaying link , message accordingly, feels more workaround actual solution.

also, when searching through multiple forums using search api module, if user has either selected "solved" or "unsolved" (instead of "any") there won't results other forums beside 1 support, because not have flag set. should count forum allows flag set, though, while others should searched keywords.

is there improve way go this? searched modules of kind, pretty unsuccessful. if has past experience similar problems, help much appreciated.

edit: when creating flag status "solved" / "unsolved", flag appears main thread of every forum create, not back upwards forum. none of other forums supposed have alternative set it. right using custom template thread view , read tid forum's breadcrumbs check whether in right forum display flag. there improve / right way it? there way tell flag appear in back upwards forum without using breadcrumbs?

why programming message custom code? did have @ flags rules integration? can load flagged content , display message

regarding search: unflagged content not flagged definition. neither solved or unsolved, null or clear: related flag filter. not sure how implement search api views add together relation flagged content (not required) , filter user flagged content empty (null).
