eclipse - Android device does not show up in Android Device Chooser, but is listed in adb -

i'm using eclipse+adt on mac os. have nexus 5 connected via usb, not show in android device chooser when run app eclipse. actually, did show once, , deploy app phone, disappeared android device chooser.

the weird thing device listed when run

adb devices

on terminal. debug messages phone in eclipse's logcat, connected , recognized – still doesn't show in device chooser. have tried solutions proposed here (rebooting phone, turning debug mode on , off, restarting adb, restarting eclipse, etc.) – no effect.

any ideas?

eerily similar spent lastly hr figuring out. os x, nexus 5, shows in adb devices, tried under sun.

in case, turned out though device wasn't listed, able press ok button , launched fine. (seen below)

i'm not sure if helped, before stumbled upon solution, edited launch config options alter "always prompt pick device" "launch on compatible devices/avs's" , selected "active devices" options. ran , worked! expected device start showing in above menu afterwards, didn't. realized didn't matter , nail ok , build. go figure.
