i have seen many questions related this. nevertheless there not reply mine think.

i utilize coded rtsp client on android utilize mediacodec in order capture rtsp stream in h264 decode , display it. have used videoview , mediaplayer well-known back upwards rtsp streaming in .setdatasource method (file or rtsp/http path) (unlike mediaextractor supports file or http), latency high purposes.

i utilize mediaextractor, because of limitation on setdatasource method seems not option. given this, searching help or examples (tutorial?) utilize rtsp client on android, or if has used mediaextractor in way capture rtsp stream help more welcome well.

you should know though lgpl, means rest of project become lgpl , if distribute application must distribute source code if requested.
