i'm trying create updated version of label. in, go my_label-1.4.0 my_label-1.4.1. this, selected 1.4.0 , chose create label 'my_label-1.4.0'

here's problem, though: previous label has little on one thousand files. creating new label old 1 not appear re-create on labeled files well, general workspace. there way re-create on included files 1 label doesn't involved manually selecting them 1 @ time?

p4 label creates label specification not label/tag files label. p4 labelsync used label/tag files @ specific version created label specification.

however, p4 tag both create label specification , label/tag files label on 1 command. so, utilize p4 tag create new label spec , tag files other label:

p4 tag -n -l my_label-1.4.1 //...@my_label-1.4.0

which first create label specification my_label-1.4.1 , tag/label files other label via file specification "//...@my_label-1.4.0". note: -n preview, remove command after previewing what want.
