is there easy way replace / substitute standard microsoft asp.net gridview command in dynamic info ef project? know there plenty of component vendors ship gridview command out of box functions go way beyond default asp.net gridview provide.

considering project using following: standard asp.net c# 4.0 dynamic-data ef website project (vs 2010).

specifically, here requirements:

the main purpose swap current asp.net gridview command more powerful 1 (see specific requirements gridview below). easy migration of project (not much code re-write substitute grid).

gridview specific features:

support freezing header-rows , ability pin specific columns. inline editing (granted, standard gridview command supports already). excel column filtering (i.e. multiple choices based on column values). column re-ordering. out of box group-by capabilities.

have ever been through such substitution exercise? if have appreciate feedback!

i know there few back upwards dynamic info wijmo grid , telerik grids i've not tried recent version compatibility. telerik may best bet inquire on forums.
