i wish develop windows application can steam video media tv. what protocol/interface allows two-way communication between tv , computer?

i'm aware hdmi one-way communication (from source tv) computers application cannot query current volume or current source not useful. there protocol allows 2 way communication?

also using hdmi possible to:

change tv's source? illustration alter to/from hdmi, av1, av2, etc.? change tv's volume?

or possible utilize hdmi transmit video/audio data?

hdmi wont able command other aspects of tv changing vole or source. can stream via hdmi. if wish manage other things prefer chromecast or apple tv or roku. chromecast easy start off.
