java - maven- not downloading new added dependency in pom.xml file -

i need new 3rd party jar reading csv in maven based project. so, did entry in pom.xml same below.

<dependency> <groupid>net.sf.opencsv</groupid> <artifactid>opencsv</artifactid> <version>2.0</version> </dependency>

but when run mvn install or mvn bundle command, not download newly added dependency , build project , generate war.

i trying issue! please share solution if face earlier!

try running forced update:

mvn clean install -u

the -u (uppercase u) forces maven @ dependencies , seek update them.
