c++ - Qt Creator Session Manager Bug? -

the default session works expected, when creating new session, neither projects nor editors restored. current projects , editors closed after ‘switch to,’ nil loaded , left blank editor windows (laid out before initiating switch) , no projects loaded. suggestions on how farther debug or otherwise resolve issue appreciated.

(using qt creator 3.2.2 on windows 8.1)

(i created new session called ‘xxx’ , grepped ‘xxx’ in project directory appdata/roaming , appdata/local , subdirectories thereof, , did not find string anywhere.)

i able utilize sessions now. had expected “new” create new session current state, see not work way.

if understand correctly now, current state tracked open session, , saved on switch. therefore, when 1 switches session, state of gui before switching available in session 1 switched.

a new session blank, if new session created , 1 switches it, there nil available, no projects or editors loaded , window arrangement remain in same layout before switching (but empty editors).

to create new session current state, utilize clone.
