acronym - What is INF in META-INF and WEB-INF in a Java web application? -
i guess inf stand infinity doesn't create sense.
what think?

a google search gives little helpful results , definition 2 folders. though can't find inf meant.
the meta-inf directories related .jar files. contain manifest (list of contents) of jar , created when write jar file...
the web-inf directory contains heirarcy in you'll find necessary configuration info web application...
inf abbreviation information (not infinity in case).
