i have edittext command currency input, however, knows, android not replace decimal separator in keyboard users locale.

so i'm thinking on creating dialog edit value, calculator. way won't have edittext, textview numeric soft keyboard.

do know numeric keyboard command can plug dialog? or maybe solution android gap?

for similar problem, used:

android:inputtype="date"

in xml layout edittext. gave me numeric soft keyboard calculator. hope helps.
