java - Eclipse Luna - No error icon shown in Navigator view -

i installed eclipse luna on ubuntu 14.04 lts.

for reason navigator view shows no reddish cross icons indicate errors. icons shown in project , bundle views. i've looked through view preferences there appears no config parameter controls visibility of icon.

this used work in previous eclipse version (helios).

however after scouring web can find nil recent, related this.

anyone else getting problem luna? normal behaviour navigator view?

sadly, normal behavior quite time now. there bug resolved wontfix - https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=364660.

a little bit of explanation here. having decorations in navigator in eclipse prior indigo sr1 caused using wrong class problem decorator in java ee plugins. farther more decorations available in java ee distribution of eclipse (because of location problem decorator definition was).
