Exiting bash mode in a linux VM -



Exiting bash mode in a linux VM -

i trying permanently set environmental variables linux vm, , edited .bashrc file , added 2 variables there. see these variables used bash echo $variable create sure set variables correctly. can't seem exit bash though. don't know if editing these variables has messed scheme or what. used vi edit file originally, can't undo changes vi or because i'm getting error -bash: vi: command not found.

so question is, how exit bash mode?

so problem found edited path variable messed around entire shell.

in order reset used . /etc/skel/.bashrc command.
