android - Stock Browser in 4.4 KitKat Cannot do Uploads on Websites -

it seems basic <input type="file"> tag no longer functions when used within built-in stock android web browser on devices running android 4.4 kitkat. file selection modal not appear.

i've tested on actual devices , in emulators (local emulators , web-based emulator services browserstack) , none of them show me file selection dialog when trying select item upload.

it work fine in google chrome on same devices , seem work in next preview version of android (l).

is else experiencing same , have found workaround? seems pretty basic i'm not finding talking issue.
