chrome-devtools is Garbled ! My file encoding is GBK -

it show normal before utilize [add folder workspace] the new create file show garbled after utilize [add folder workspace] my javascript file <script type="text/javascript" src="x.js" charset="gbk"></script> my project gbk

my project gbk, need help!

enabling workspaces in chrome devtools means devtools save changes. importantly, saved file in unicode, regardless of original encoding was. behaviour doesn't appear configurable. if don't want files converted unicode update them, don't enable workspaces. don't see other option.

if, on other hand, happy work in unicode, don't forget update charset references in meta tags.
