data source: excel file , microsoft database info analysis: r info reporting: tableau public

my utilize case take 5-6 inputs user. inputs in drop downwards , multiple selection box. based on inputs need analysis , display on tableau.

question:

how take user inputs in tableau? form? or alternative taking user inputs , pass tableau/r?

if think of making web page how pass value page r , tableau , homecoming analysis web page?

please provide valuable inputs or alternative accomplish requirements.
