i'm front end end designer has been working php, wordpress, joomla, open cart , likes.

most may familiar workflow. start off planning > wireframes > psd/fireworks. dish out html/css, , force wordpress theme or whichever framework use.

now i'm tasked work asp.net. hear master pages (and how awesome are), .aspx files, asp-mvc. etc etc. question is, begin? how workflow alter front end end designer?

are there recommended reading, books, or video tutorials, can start off front end end designer? how work master pages, , prepare files backend dev teams. or how convert htmls .aspx file.

i don't need know how code exclusively looking larn how workflow like. , if i'm tied downwards visual studio express. (i much love stick sublime text)

asp.net way of develop applications generates html per request, since seems got web technologies, should understand how asp.net works.

you should start learning .net basics, illustration reading first 10 chapters of : beginning c# object-oriented programming, , chapter 12.

then move asp.net mvc specific book like: pro asp.net mvc 5
