php - Packagist server without Solr? -

we want setup private packagist server (https://packagist.org/, https://github.com/composer/packagist) in our infrastructure.

we consider running solr overhead not have have many packages. packagist documentation says solr required search index. couldn't find info whether search index mandatory feature, or whether can run packagist without it.

any chance?
