wordpress - Pinterest won't recognize verification metatag -
i'm trying verify website on pinterest using metatag:
<meta name="p:domain_verify" content="xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"/>
the site hosted on wordpress
1) added metatag header within <head>and tried verify ---- didn't work 2) tried place within <footer> instead ----- didn't work 3) tried many different wordpress plugins ---- didn't work
i know plugin did job, when @ source code, metatag there (in head). why pinterest not verifying it?
