Migrate SVN to TFS with GIT TFS -

Migrate SVN to TFS with GIT TFS -

i'm wondering whether can utilize git-tfs tool migrate git repository tfsvc.

i've tried using git tf , works using checkin --deep. (not working branches though)

is somehow possible using git-tfs?

steps:

git svn create local git repository remote svn. git tfs init http://tfs-repository git tfs rchekin <- error: no tfs parents found.

any help?

(disclamer : i'm 1 of main developers of git-tfs...)

perhaps, if know how git-tfs works, end inquire (because git-tfs back upwards branches). won't automatic process, have lot of things manually (with hours , hours of hard work do!). highly recommend against trying that. way git works , tfs works made hard migrate git tfsvc...

git-tfs created utilize git locally when obliged utilize tfs source command or migrate sources away of tfsvc because that's not version command system.

don't seek utilize locked using tfsvc :(

i think should improve either migrate sources within git project in tfs if have tfs2013 or utilize git central repository.

git svn tfs git-tfs git-tf
