zip - Zipping a folder into equal size parts -

i've been using 7zip few years , liked zip folder several parts of specific size. example, website box allows uploads under 100mb wanted set box, split zip file 95mb files. however, i've needed similar except instead of breaking size, need split them specific number of files equaling same size. right now, 7zip breaks them max size allow , lastly file remaining info ranging 1kb limit specified.

for example, have 826mb file, want zip 5 files same size. there programme out there this?

i don't know of programme this, if you're doing regularly, write script that:

finds out size of file calculates maximum piece size utilize if want split n pieces. constructs corresponding 7zip command
