Is it possible to count the number of items in a Haskell list? -

I am trying to calculate the number of items in a list in Haskell, but I have to find online that you do It's just if you're using a value to satisfy the condition.

I was wondering if you had a normal count :: list -> gt;

length:: [A] ->

For example, evaluates for length [1, 1, 2, 42, 7] 5. / P>
