ruby - Can't require 'osx/cocoa' after RubyCocoa installation -

i've tried moving files around , performing various un/installations , still cannot seem rubycocoa load when require 'osx/cocoa'. found native apple version of rubycocoa , files won't load either. i've nail dead end trying determine how can work , hoping help. i'm interested in testing functionality , perchance writing applescripts, using ruby, until overcome issue i'm stuck. thanks!

extra points if can figure out how can install rubycocoa rvm.

in mac os x maverics, os-embedded ruby 1.8 (/system/library/frameworks/ruby.framework/versions/1.8/usr/bin/ruby) required utilize require osx/cocoa. specify path instead of using other versions of ruby installed rbenv or rvm.

please note solution temporal because version of ruby 1.8 has been removed in yosemite , require osx/cocoa unavailable.
